Greece Digital Nomad Visa

The Greece Digital Nomad Visa allows non-EU citizens to live and work remotely in Greece for up to one year, with the possibility of extension. Introduced in 2021, the visa aims to attract remote workers and boost the Greek economy. Applicants need to demonstrate a minimum monthly income and meet other requirements, such as having a clean criminal record and health insurance.

 

Residency:

The initial visa is valid for one year and can be extended for 3 years.

After 7 years, digital nomads can apply for citizenship.

 

Price:

1 Pax =  €12-16K

Each Dependents =  €1500 – 2000

*Child be must be under 18 years old

 

Processing Time:

1 Month for the Visa ( Client can be outside Greece)

1 Month for Processing the works ( Client must be inside Greece)

 

Payment Method:

Payment can be done over 4 intercourse

Nationality: Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens only

Employment Type:

  • Remote employee of a foreign company, or
  • Self-employed/freelancer serving non-Greek clients

Income Threshold:

  • €3,500/month minimum (after tax)
  • Demonstrated through employment contract, invoices, or bank statements

Health Insurance: Private policy valid in Greece

Clean Background: No criminal record

No Local Employment: Not allowed to work for Greek clients or companies under this visa
